As the year's much-awaited Filmfare Awards (South) ceremony gets wrapped up in Hyderabad, teams 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' and 'Mayaanadhi' go home with maximum number of awards, in Malayalam. Dileesh Pothen's 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' take away four awards at the 65th Jio Filmfare Awards 2018, including the Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor(Fahadh Faasil) and supporting actor(Alencier Ley). 'Mayaanadhi,' directed by Aashiq Abu, has also won four titles and most of them are in the music department. Apart from Tovino Thomas' Critics Award for Best Actor, the film wins in the categories of Best Singer, Best Composer and Best Lyricist as well. As for the other awards, Parvathy emerges the Best Actress for her performance in the Mahesh Narayanan movie 'Take Off' and K S Chithra is named the Best Singer for the song 'Nadavathil' in 'Kamboji.' The event was hosted by actors Rahul Raveendran and Sandeep Kishan.
