Priyanka plays lead actress in Salman Khan's 'Bharat'

After delivering two back to back hit ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to come together for the third time for the forthcoming film ‘Bharat’. As the actor-director duo gear up for their hat-trick venture, we give you a rundown of interesting facts about the film. The speculations about the female lead opposite Salman in the film have been most rampant. Finally, Priyanka has recently confirmed that she will be featuring as the female lead in the film.
According to the reports, Priyanka along with director Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed that ‘Bharat’ will star the ‘Desi Girl’ opposite the ‘Dabangg’ actor. Priyanka reportedly said that she is looking forward to working with Salman and Ali after a considerable time. The actress also thanked her well-wishers and fans who have been patient and supportive. Confirming the same, Ali also reportedly stated that ‘Bharat’ will be PC’s homecoming to Bollywood. Priyanka is the biggest Indian artist globally today and a perfect fit for the film as she brings to the table her incredible talent and international appeal.
Salman Khan will be playing a character that goes through various phases in history, living several significant moments from India’s past to present. In what will be the ‘Dabangg’ star’s biggest challenge of his career, the actor will be seen using prosthetics for the first time.

According to reports, his character starts at the age of 18-19 and then goes through the different chapters of our history piece by piece. Every episode will require a different look. Salman, who hates prosthetics, has agreed to it just this once for the film. Salman will reportedly sport four-five looks in the film through 60 years, and one crucial part will focus on his late 20s, in which the 52-year-old actor will look leaner and much younger.
