Amir Khan's 'Thugs of Hindostan' already created enough buzz with the promo releases of Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Lloyd Owen and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Now it's the turn for the hero - Amir Khan. Amir Khan looks totally mischievous and full of suspense in the video. The craziest thing is that he is riding an ass.

In previous promos, we have seen Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh, the commander of thugs. Katrina Kaif played the role of Suraiyya, night queen - who can weaken knees of anyone with her lust quotient. Fatima Sana Shaikh is presenting the character of Zafira, an archer. And Lloyd Owen is portrayed as John Clive, a villainous British officer. Amir Khan's character is named Firangi.

The film's plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a thug (also known as a thuggee) called Azad, whose gang of thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.

'Thugs of Hindostan' is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. His first direction was 2008 film 'Tashan' and then he made 'Dhoom 3' in 2013. This time we hope his film is big enough to match the creativity of the promos. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It is scheduled to release on 8 November 2018.
