Lately, Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika had much bad news as many actors were quitting the project. But this time she made it big with Big B. Amitabh Bachchan will be narrating the whole story in the background. Normally films with Big B's voiceover tend to go higher. and recently after the trailer release 'Thugs of Hindostan' Amitabh Bachchan's popularity again rocketed. So having him on the film is quite a move for Kangana.

On early September Sonu Sood said that he is unable to work for the film as it is difficult for him to work under more than one directors. Kangana took over the project as the director on August. Kangana blamed Sonu for refusing to work under woman director. The film was scheduled to release on 27 April 2018 but was postponed to be released on 25 January 2019.

Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongappa will be playing important roles in the film. The film is produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Nishant Pitti. K. V. Vijayendra Prasad wrote the story for the film. Yesterday on October 1st the official teaser of the film got released.
