Henry Cavill was seen throwing massive punches as August Walker in the latest trailer for Mission: Impossible - Fallout. His moustache for the role became an issue when reshoots for Justice League began simultaneously. Cavill has now bid goodbye to that world famous moustache and is getting busy with promotion for his latest outing.
According to a report in Entertainment Weekly, Cavill revealed that his character August Walker is a CIA agent and believes in MO that is the polar opposite of Tom Cruise's character. Calling August Walker CIA's 'weapon of last resort,' Cavill said, "He is a blunt force trauma type attack. He kills everyone in the room and there are no questions or answers, there are no witnesses, there are no questions asked, and the job is done."
The Man of Steel star also revealed why August Walker and Ethan Hunt will butt heads against each other. "Ethan believes that whatever Walker is doing, it’s not helping,” Cavill says. “Ethan Hunt is a hero, the guy who makes sure everyone stays alive. Walker thinks the way Ethan carries out his business is ultimately more of a threat to the mission and more of a threat to the greater good.” Cavill, alongside his co-stars Tom Cruise, Angela Bassett, and Simon Pegg showcased the movie at recently concluded CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the sixth instalment of the popular franchise will arrive in cinemas on July 27.
