'Sarkar' : Government Order To Take Down Smoking Poster Of Vijay

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' is releasing on festive day of Diwali on November 6th. It already created huge buzz around fan clubs. Recently for promotion huge cutouts and posters are put around many places. Not only that, movie theatres are also prmoting personally on their own. With all the extravaganza some legal things slipped from mind. They put on a poster of Vijay with a smoking cigarette. This attracted unwanted attention among many legal entities.

Panneerselvam the President of the Theater Owners Association has sent a circular to all the cinemas. It states that such posters and banners with cigarette must be removed from theatres and any public places. Before this TN Health Department sent notices when the first look poster was released. They sent it to Vijay, director A.R. Murugadoss and the producing company Sun Pictures.
