Singer Mohammad Aziz passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest on Tuesday, November 27. He was admitted in Mumbai's In Nanavati Hospital. Aziz was 64. Reportedly just a day before his death he visited Kolkata for a show. When returning Mumbai he suffered from cardiac arrest. Mohammad Aziz was a famed multi-lingual singer who sang around 2000 songs in Hindi, Bengali and Odiya. He was the most successful singer to sing Mohammed Rafi's songs.
he worked with some of the biggest names from the music industry Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Rahul Dev Burman, Naushad, O. P. Nayyar, Bappi Lahiri amongst others. His long list of songs includes,

'My Name Is Lakhan' - Ram Lakhan
'Duniya Mein Kitna Gham Hai' - Amrit
'Imli Ka Boota' - Saudagar

Aziz's daughter, Sana Aziz said, "He always used to travel with someone. So, we got a call from them only. He died due to heart blockage. The problem started even before he boarded the flight but he just wanted to get back home. The last rites will happen in Mumbai only but not much has been decided yet."
