Go Goa Gone was the first zombie comedy movie from India. It was released in 2013. But the movie did not score well in box office. So makers found the obvious way to make the franchise stronger - by making a sequel. Few months back Kunal Kemmu confirmed it. Now we know that the shooting of the sequel will start from 2019.

In an interview actor Vir Das told IANS, "We will begin shooting in some point in 2019. We had a really good meeting between the three of us Kunal Kemmu, Anand Tiwari and me, where we sat and listened to the script. I can confidently tell you it is going to be just as fun if not more."

Go Goa Gone 2 will be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. The first part casts Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Puja Gupta and Anand Tiwari. Now we have to wait to see how much star casts the sequel can retain. Most of the shooting for Go Goa Gone was done in Mauritius.
