Recently Riteish Deshmukh is busy with his upcoming Marathi film Mauli. He is successfully promoting the films and Khans already appreciated his efforts. Now Milap Milan Zaveri started a new project 'Marjaavaan'. They just started the shooting of the film. Marjaavaan is casting Sidharth Malhotra as male lead actor. Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh will play as female leads in the film. Riteish will join the set after a couple of days.

Previously in 2014, Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Milap Milan Zaveri teamed up for 'Ek Villain'. That time Milap wrote the dialogues. This time he is taking the responsibility as a director. Ek Villain was a successful film for the performance of Riteish as a psycho killer. Some reports are indicating that in Marjaavaan he will be playing as a physically challenged person and that could be a dwarf like Shah Rukh Khan in Zero. If this happens Riteish will be the second person to try such kind of role after the Khan.

Milap told, "Marjaavaan is a very powerful film. There’s a beautiful love story. It’s an angry love and not a popcorn love. I think people loved the tagline: Ishq Mein Marenge Bhi, Maarenge Bhi."
