Sharwanand Confirms About '96' Telugu Remake

Sharwanand is known for his work in famous remake films. He recently confirmed about 96 remake in a press interaction on Wednesday and he said, "The discussions are on. I loved the film and will talk about it when things are finalised officially!" Dil Raju came forward to produce the film. He also approached Nani and Allu Arjun for their opinion. Allu Arjun showed his interest and promise to co-produce the film. But Nani is not interested to act in it, as he felt it suited the original couple more.

As per reports Samantha will star in Trisha Krishnan's role and original director, Prem will return to direct it in Telugu. 96 is a superhit Tamil film that features Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. It is a situational love-story about a travel-photographer. The movie was produced by S. Nanthagopal in the banner of Madras Enterprises.
