In this film he is playing the role of Krishnamachari Srikanth, the iconic cricketer. This film will be based on 1983 cricket world cup or Prudential Cup. India won that world cup against West Indies with Kapil Dev's leadership. Ranveer Singh is reported to play the role of Kapil Dev. Other casts are not declared yet. We have to wait for official reports from the makers. Kabir Khan's last directorial was 'Tubelight' which got released in 2017.
