The film is kept away from any media. But right now we have news about the film. In 'Jersey', Nani appears as Cricketer Arjun. This movie is actually the life story of Cricketer Raman Lamba. It's about his passion for the game and what hurdles did he face to fulfill his dream of representing India.

In the First Class Cricket, Raman Lamba scored 6,362 runs at an average of 53.91 in 87 matches. He made 22 Centuries and 5 Double Centuries in his career. This Uttar Pradesh Cricketer established himself as run-machine during the 1996-97 Ranji Trophy. Thereafter, He played for the country in 4 Tests and 32 ODIs. He made his highest score (102) in ODIs in his 6th Match.

Unfortunately, The career of Raman Lamba ended abruptly. While he was fielding at Short Leg during the Dhaka Premier League in Dhaka, He slipped into coma after receiving a blow on his head. He passed away in the PG Hospital after 3 days on February 23rd, 1998. The movie is a romantic entertainer with backdrop of the sport. It is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced under Sithara Entertainments banner.
