Timir wants to make a film on Bangla bands

Despite keeping busy with regular live shows and playback singing, Timir Biswas is set to pursue his other dreams. Only recently, he completed a short - Kichhudin - based on his father’s involvement with the stage. Timir’s first directorial venture is about his father, Swapan Biswas, a stage veteran, who is associated with theatre for the past 40 years. “To showcase his acting skills to the world, I wanted to make a short film and am happy that I could finally do it. In future, I plan to direct more such films,” he had told us earlier. And now, we hear, Timir plans to make a film on the Bangla bands. He leads a band himself and knows the music industry inside out.
