Famous Bollywood Actor-Screenwriter Kader Khan Passes Away At 81

Veteran Actor-Screenwriter Kader Khan passed away on Tuesday morning around 4am IST in Canada. Kader Khan's son Sarfaraz Khan confirmed the news. He said, "Yes, my dad has left us this morning. He was unwell from last few months and in the hospital from last few days. We tried everything we could, but it was time. He was a very loving man and he loved everyone who was a part of his life." He also added, "The last rites will be performed in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it."

Mr. Khan was born on October 22, 1937, in Kabul, Afghanistan to Abdul Rahman Khan and Iqbal Begum. Before he ventured into films in the 1970s, he taught at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai as a Civil Engineering professor. He made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna's "Daag". He performed in nearly 300 movies and also wrote dialogues for around 250 movies.

His acting in films like Daag, Anari, Judwaa, Judaai, Mr. Natwarlal, Suhag, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Lucky: No Time for Love, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Dulhe Raja, Saajan Chale Sasural, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, and Coolie No. 1 will be always remembered. He wrote dialogues for many super hit films. Few such names are Natwarlal, Satte Pe Satta, Inquilab, Do Aur Do Paanch, Giraftaar, Hum, Khoon Pasina, Agneepath.
