The year 2019 was a big year for Bollywood debuts. Many star kids along with few others took entry into Bollywood. We at Cineraptor noticed the ups and downs, hits and flops throughout the year. Right now at the start of this new decade, we must take a look back and rewind the year once again. In this article, we will discuss 10 biggest hits and flops from 2019.

Tara Sutaria is one of the biggest successes of 2019. She got her big break in Punit Malhotra's film Student Of The Year 2. The actress got another release in 2019 with Milap Zaveri's Marjaavaan. She is currently shooting for her next film Tadap. Her long list of movies proudly said that there is no need to be a star kid to be successful in the industry. We wish her very good luck for 2020.

Our next entry is Abhimanyu Dassani - the son of famous actress Bhagyashree. His debut with Vasan Bala's 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota' was a big hit and received critical acclaim for his acting and action scenes. We saw only one appearance from the actor in the year 2019. It's reported that Sabbir Khan's upcoming film 'Nikamma' will star Abhimanyu this year.

Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya made her entry with Student Of The Year 2. She quickly captured the glam of the industry and of course a good amount of fan following in very little time. At the time of the release of Student Of The Year 2, she already got her second project - Pati Patni Aur Woh. She is currently working on Khaali Peeli with Ishaan Khatter.

What could be more interesting than a debut with Bollywood's Bhaijaan? Yes, we are speaking about Saiee Manjrekar - the daughter of Mahesh Manjrekar. Previously Dabangg 3 is offered to Ashwami Manjrekar - elder daughter of Manjrekar, but afterward, Salman Khan revealed that it's Saiee Manjrekar who made the debut.

Sunny Deol launched his son Karan Deol with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The film was also directed by Sunny Deol. Though the Deol family totally backed the film with a box office revenue of ₹10.03 crore against a ₹60 crore budget, the film was commercially unsuccessful. Sahher Bambba - another debutante was seen in this movie. There is no news about any future project for both of them.

Siddhant made his debut with Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. He played the role of MC Sher and WHAT-A-DEBUT he had. This one was the most successful launch from Bollywood for 2019. He already started to get many projects and we will see him in 3-4 films in the year 2020. Siddhant's next big film is Varun Sharma's 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' with Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan.

Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl made their entry in the film 'Notebook'. Though a low budget film this one received a mixed response from critics - and personally I liked it. The film is a remake of the 2014 Thai film 'Teacher's Diary'. The daughter of Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan played well in her first film. On the other hand, Zaheer - the son of Iqbal Ratnasi (a friend of Salman Khan) played equally good.

Vardhan Puri made his debut in Yeh Saali Aashiqui. Though Amrish Puri's grandson appeared for his first movie in Bollywood, not so many critics were happy with that release. We hope he will get many more opportunities in the upcoming years.

So, this is our list of 10 debutante actors who made it big or not so big in the year 2019. Looking at this you must already found out that half of them are from film background. But compared to past years we have observed many more artists are joining the industry without any background support and most of the time they performed better than others. This year will bring many more new faces in Bollywood. Some of them are Alaia Furniturewala, Manushi Chillar, Shalini Panday, Isabelle Kaif, Sharvari, Ahaan Shetty and many more. We will discuss their performance at the end of this year. Till then wish them good luck and enjoy their films.
