Lamborghini has teamed up with The Italian Sea Group to create a $3.4 million yacht. They created the breathtaking 'Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63' - a limited edition motor yacht named after Lamborghini's 1963 foundation. The yacht weighs 24 tons and measures 63 feet long, is classed as 'ultra-lightweight' as a result of its carbon-fibre construction. The superyacht is powered by the MAN-sourced V12 power mills that produce 1972 bhp each. The Tecnomar draws inspiration from the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 hybrid supercar. Unlike the Sián FKP 37 though, this superyacht isn't a hybrid.
Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said,
Our co-operation allows the essence of both organisations' style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment. If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision. I am delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration.
The exterior design is 'cutting-edge' with the hull and superstructure created from a high-performance shell. The luxury boat is built with the use of carbon fibre in its construction, typical of the brand's supercars, which puts the model in the ultra-lightweight boat classification. The hard top and the rear part of the yacht is inspired by Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. Even it gets the tail light just like a supercar.
The interior features Lamborghini's iconic clean lines, hexagon shapes, Y-motif and materials. The captain's seat and driving console exactly looks like the one from Lamborghini Urus. Customers will be able to choose from an extensive range of exterior colours and interior customisations.
The Tecnomar is priced high not only for the design or technology but also for its exclusivity - only 63 yachts will be ever made. The first example of the motor yacht will be available in early 2021 and deliveries will begin from mid 2021. So, fellow millionaires and billionaires get ready for the race and hope for the best.
